What is IQOS?
IQOS is a heat-not-burn tobacco device. It heats specially designed tobacco sticks — HEETS or TEREA, depending on the device — instead of burning them, producing a tobacco vapour without smoke, ash, or fire.
Is IQOS a vape?
No. IQOS is a heat-not-burn device that uses real tobacco sticks, not an e-liquid vaporiser. It works on a fundamentally different principle from vapes like JUUL, which heat a nicotine e-liquid rather than tobacco.
What is the difference between HEETS and TEREA?
HEETS are blade-heated tobacco sticks made for the IQOS 3 DUO, IQOS 3 MULTI, and LIL SOLID devices. TEREA sticks use induction heating (no blade) and are made exclusively for IQOS ILUMA devices. HEETS and TEREA are not interchangeable between device generations.
What’s the difference between IQOS 3 DUO, 3 MULTI, and ILUMA?
